Empowering Families to Thrive Abroad
Therapeutic Support with Growing up Abroad
About
Professional Support for Mobile Families and Third Culture Kids
We believe that every family living across countries deserves to feel seen, stable, and supported—no matter how privileged their lifestyle may appear.
We know that behind an international life there are often silent struggles: feelings of displacement, loneliness, emotional and parenting challenges. That’s why we exist: to normalize the need for support and to provide practical, human tools for those who grow—and raise children—across different cultures.
Growing Up Abroad was born out of a personal experience before a professional one. Our founder is a mother, a therapist, and an expat of over 15 years. She knows what it means to live between worlds and has turned this awareness into a project of care and connection.

Our Values
Inclusion and Respect for Diversity
Welcoming every family, culture, and identity as unique and valuable. We recognize that there is no single way of living, parenting, or experiencing emotions. We work to create spaces where everyone feels represented, heard, and respected—free from cultural hierarchies or stereotypes.
Mental Wellbeing as a Priority
Mental health is not a luxury but an essential foundation for living well. We consider it a vital part of quality of life—especially for those navigating the complex realities of international mobility.
Mindful Support for Third Culture Kids
Every child deserves to grow in an environment that acknowledges their emotions, needs, and the complexity of their cultural identity. This is especially true for Third Culture Kids, who from an early age face changes, adaptation, and discontinuity.
Accessible and High-Quality Psychoeducation
Understanding oneself, one’s emotional dynamics, and family patterns is the first step toward wellbeing. We want psychology to move beyond the therapy room and become shared knowledge.
Internationality
Living across cultures is an immense resource, but also a potential point of fragility. Multicultural identity needs to be nurtured, explored, and supported—not left to chance.
